Whether you’re concerned with the price of gas or the environment, you should consider switching to a hybrid vehicle. With that in mind, MINI rolled out its first plug-in electric hybrid vehicle in the MINI Countryman S E ALL4! Take your hybrid MINI for a spin in one of three different eDrive Modes; go electric in MAX eDrive mode, get efficient gas usage with AUTO eDrive, or let the gasoline engine do the work in SAVE BATTERY mode. With an electric range of approximately 19 km, as well as a regenerative braking system which recharges the battery as you drive, the MINI Countryman S E ALL4 can take care of your daily commute efficiently, while still offering a powerful gas engine for your more intense adventures.
Convenience and Comfort
The Countryman S E ALL4 was designed to keep it charged anywhere your journey might take you. In addition to its regenerative brake system, you can charge your Countryman S E ALL4 in a conventional 120-volt household socket or a dedicated electric car charging box. Your new hybrid MINI also offers up the same practical and spacious Countryman design, including versatile cargo space and roomier cabin design.
Where We’re Going, We Don’t Need Roads
Whether you’re driving electric, hybrid, or gas, the S E ALL4 still offers up the same All-Wheel Drive system which comes standard in the MINI Countryman family. The system independently distributes torque to each axle, providing superb traction and control on any road surface, or even on those occasions when you need to take your MINI off the pavement. Throw in 8 SMART airbags, a rigid frame, and a Crash Sensor System, and your MINI is equipped to keep you safe wherever your journey takes you.
