7-Speed Steptronic Transmission
The 7-speed Steptronic Transmission offers both an automotive and manual mode. It doesn't matter which one you're in because it offers seamless transitions between shifts. The John Cooper version adds another gear making it an 8-speed with Launch control. This extra addition allows that particular trim to reach 100 km/h in a blistering time.
